The app your business actually needs
Not the nearest thing you could buy and bend. An app built around how your people really work, by the same team that looks after your IT, so it lands somewhere we already understand.
When off-the-shelf stops fitting
- A spreadsheet is quietly running a process the business depends on.
- You pay for a system and use a tenth of it, then do the rest by hand.
- Staff keep a paper form or a whiteboard because nothing else fits.
- Only one person really knows how the process works.
- You need something regulators or auditors can see, and a shared drive is not it.
- The software you need exists, but only as part of a package three times the size.
What we build
Line-of-business apps
The system at the centre of a team's day: bookings, jobs, cases, stock or plans, built around your process rather than a vendor's idea of it.
Portals and dashboards
One screen that answers the question everyone keeps asking, with each person seeing their slice and nobody seeing the rest.
Apps in Teams and on phones
Software that appears where people already work. No new website and no new password, because sign-in is your Microsoft 365.
Compliance and governance tools
Plans, evidence and sign-offs that an inspector can follow, with a clear record of who did what and when.
Staff and customer schemes
The small internal service that everyone uses but no product covers, run properly instead of from somebody's inbox.
Secure by default
Microsoft sign-in, access by role, an audit trail and backups, held to the same standard as the rest of the estate we secure for you.
Built by us, running today
Not case studies from somebody else's portfolio. We wrote these, we host or support them, and they are in use now.
A practice app for a multi-site vet group
Prism runs day-to-day work across Larkmead's sites and keeps itself in step with their practice management system, so nobody types the same thing twice.
A CQC governance platform
A live service improvement plan for a care provider, signed into with their own Microsoft accounts and kept on its own database, separate from everything else.
A staff Christmas savings scheme
A small scheme that used to live in spreadsheets and email, now a proper app their team signs into and trusts.
How a project runs
No open-ended day rates. You know the price before we start.
- 1
A conversation
Half an hour on what is actually slowing you down. Often the answer is a setting in software you already own, and we will say so.
- 2
A written scope and a fixed price
What it will do, what it will not, and one number, before anything is built.
- 3
Built and proven on your data
You see it working with your own records before it goes near your whole team.
- 4
Supported like the rest of your IT
It joins the systems we already look after. One number to ring, and the people answering it built the thing.
Your data stays yours
Where the job allows, we build inside your own Microsoft 365, so the data never leaves your tenant and your existing sign-in and security already cover it. Where an app needs its own database, it sits on UK infrastructure we run, and you can have everything exported whenever you ask.
Questions people ask first
How much does a custom app cost?
It depends on what it has to do, which is why we scope it first. You get a written scope and one fixed price before anything is built, and that price does not move unless you change what you are asking for.
Who owns it?
Your data is yours, and we will export all of it whenever you ask, in a format you can use. We would rather you stayed because the app is good than because leaving is hard.
Where does it run?
Inside your own Microsoft 365 where the job allows. Where it needs its own database, on UK infrastructure we run, monitor and back up.
What happens when something breaks?
You ring the same number you ring for everything else. The people answering built the app and already support the systems around it.
Can you change it later?
Yes. Apps grow with the business. Changes are scoped and priced the same way, before the work starts.
Got a process that only works because somebody remembers it?
That is usually the one worth building. Tell us what it is and we will tell you honestly whether software is the answer.
